In January 2005, AZTEC won the contract to act on behalf of Tesco Lotus in the sale of their (raw) named account scan data in Thailand. The services planned, as a result of this relationship, will revolutionize the use of grocery named account data by retailers and suppliers in Thailand.


Services available to customers from the Tesco Lotus data agency include: -

  • Store level report of volume and value sales across all the categories items (SKU’s) in weekly timeframes (Platinum Level Data)

  • Weekly updates via AZTEC on Web Historical data to January ’03 to the current week

April 2005 marked a first for Carrefour in the Asia-Pacific region with the release of their (raw) named account data to suppliers via a data agency. Successful in Thailand, AZTEC will release Carrefour data to the marketplace effective May 2005. The services planned, as a result of this decision by Carrefour, will greatly enhance the use of named account data by suppliers when dealing with Carrefour in the coming years.
